The Learning Support Department works closely with the other departments within the school and across all year groups. The department aims to ensure that every student can maximise their potential both academically and socially.

The department has a well-stocked resource centre with a range of materials to assist in all areas of the curriculum. These include a variety of books, computer programmes and games. Students are able to access the department before school and at lunchtime and are encouraged to make wide use of these resources.

There are always members of staff available in the department to talk to students and to help with their academic and social development. Our Learning Support Assistants have a wide range of experience and skills and work with teachers to support curriculum learning.
